Either call our office to request any refills needed or ask your pharmacist to call or fax our office with the request.  We ask that pain medication refills be obtained during your office appointment or during regular office hours.

Co-pays are due before you are seen by Dr. Barnes.  We will then file insurance claims for an insurance company with which we participate and bill you for any balance due for deductibles or difference on co-pays.
We accept cash, checks, debit cards, MasterCard, and VISA. Payments can be made in person or by phone to our business office.

We do ask that all new patients be referred from a practicing physician or nurse practitioner.  Please feel free to contact us through our office, or the referral portal above so that we can help facilitate your visit.

Our main office hours are 08:30AM to 04:30PM Monday through Friday.  Dr. Barnes sees patients in his clinic during the following hours:
-Savannah on Thursdays from 10:00AM to 04:00PM
-Richmond Hill on Mondays from 12:30PM to 04:00PM.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment for new patient paperwork.  Please be sure to bring your insurance cards, drivers license, and a list of any medications that you currently take to every visit. Also, please bring any reports or radiology films/CDs that you have had recently. 

Our office will assist you in pre-certification of your surgical procedure with your insurance company.  We will check your benefits, however, each patient is ultimately responsible for being familiar with their insurance. If we find that you are our of network, we will contact you immediately.

You will receive a telephone call once insurance approves your surgery. At that point , the surgery scheduler will discuss surgery dates and times as well as any necessary appointments for pre-operative labwork or consultation with other physicians involved.
You will need to contact our scheduling department to change or cancel any reservations that have been made on your behalf.  You may also contact them if you have any questions regarding the information given to you.
A medical records release form will be included in paperwork filled out by you during your first visit.  You or the facility requesting records will need to contact Dr. Barnes’ medical assistant to obtain copies.
Yes, our office is happy to complete your disability/cancer policy forms.  Please hand-deliver the forms to one of our offices as there is a small fee for this.  Please complete your portion and sign the form and provide a fax number to where the paperwork can be returned once complete.  Please allow up to 72 hours for this paperwork to be completed. You will be notified once complete.
